Israel-based defender David Acquah expects Black Stars call up before end of the year
Israeli-based Ghanaian defender David Acquah has set sights on earning call up into the national team before the year comes to an end.
The 21-year-old lanky defender enjoyed an amazing campaign in the Israeli second-tier with Hapoel Afula, featuring 25 times and scoring 2 goals in the just ended season.
The on-loan Maccabi Haifa towering guardsman speaking on UTV expressed desire to play for the Black Stars.
“It the dream of every player to play for the Black Stars, so I am hoping to get my chance. I have been playing well in Israel and I hope I can earn a call before the year comes to an end”
“I will continue to work hard with my club and I trust I can get a call up before 2022 ends” he said.
