John Paintsil says he is willing to scout for Ghana’s Black Stars
John Paintsil has stated that he is willing to serve as a scout for the Black Stars in the run-up to the 2023 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars will represent Africa as one of five national teams in this year’s World Cup. Ghana is in Group H with South Korea, Portugal, and Uruguay.
While preparations are apparently underway, John Paintsil has told Class Sports that he is eager to play any part for the national side if the Ghana Football Association needs his services (GFA).
When given the chance, the former Black Stars defender says he would love to scout for the Black Stars.
“With the scouting part, it will be very very good. I’m good at that. I have an eye and also I’m doing my coaching. Now we are playing in the third division which things are moving smoothly for us. We are top of the log now so for me my aim is to be part of anything that will help the nation.
“I will be available for any position that will come my way,” he added.
Ghana will play Portugal on November 24th, this game will be Ghana’s first at the World Cup.
