Leicester City winger Ademola Lookman over the moon after making Nigeria debut in Ghana clash
Leicester City forward, Ademola Lookman has shared his excitement after making his debut for Nigeria in the clash against Ghana last Friday.
The young attacker was a second-half substitute on Friday night when the Super Eagles played as a guest to the Black Stars in the first leg of the playoff tie of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Sharing his thoughts after the game, Ademola Lookman said, “Extremely proud and grateful to have made my Super Eagles debut. Thank you God for the opportunity. It means everything to put on the shirt and represent my country. See you on Tuesday. We need your support.”
The forward is hoping to be given more minutes on Tuesday when Nigeria takes on Ghana in the second leg of the playoff tie of the qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The reverse fixture between Nigeria and Ghana will be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
