Medeama SC confirm Hamza Obeng departure

Premier League side Medeama SC have announced second assistant Hamza Obeng has left the club with immediate effect.

Hamza joined Medeama as first team assistant coach in December 2018 but has left after almost three years in Tarkwa.

In a statement on the club’s website, management thanked the young gaffer for his time at the club and also wish him well in the future.

“Medeama Sporting Club announces that assistant coach Hamza Obeng Mohammed has left the club with immediate effect,” a club statement read

“The club would like to thank Hamza for his work during his time at the club and wish him success in the future.

“Coach Yaw Preko and assistant Yaw Acheampong will remain in charge of the team until the end of the season.”

Hamza previously  served as the head coach of Ghanaian Division One League side King Faisal.

He holds Bsc in Business Administration from the University of Education, Kumasi campus.
