Mikel Arteta praises Eddie Nketiah after Arsenal’s victory against Chelsea
Arsenal gaffer Mikel Arteta has praised Ghana target Eddie Nketiah after he scored two goals against Chelsea on Wednesday evening.
Eddie Nketiah scored the first goal of the game in the 13th minute and his second goal in the second half of the encounter.
After the game, Arteta said he has always been right about the forward and he is happy to see Nketiah’s hard work paying off.
“What I’ve been saying all the time about Eddie. When you look at him in training and how humble he is all the time, good things happen. Good things happen to good people. The same with Mo Elneny and Rob Holding,” he said
Eddie Nketiah in a recent interview expressed his delight in Ghana’s qualification for the 2022 World Cup and also stated that he will soon make a decision on his international future.
Nketiah was raised in Lewisham and his parents are Ghanaians.
