Peterborough manager Grant McCann reveals admiration for Ghana youngster Kwame Poku
Manager of English side Peterborough United, Grant McCann has disclosed that he admires the play of Ghanaian international Kwame Poku a lot.
The youngster joined the English Championship outfit last summer in a move from Colchester United.
Last Tuesday, Kwame Poku featured for Peterborough United when the team drew 1-1 against Luton Town.
Speaking on the performance of the player, Coach Grant McCann says he was impressed.
“I like Kwame and I felt the Luton game would be ideal for him as he’s calm on the ball, but also aggressive off it,” the manager said ahead of the game with Blackburn Rovers this weekend.
Coach Grant McCann continued, “And he was very good. If he plays like that he gets into my team nine times out of 10.”
This season, the Ghanaian has made 14 appearances for Peterborough United where he has scored one goal.
