PHOTOS: Ayew brothers, Wakaso, others report to Ghana camp to prepare for Madagascar game
Andre Ayew and brother Jordan Ayew have reported to the camp of the Black Stars ahead of Ghana’s encounter against Madagascar in the qualifiers to the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The national team of Ghana is set to kick off the qualifiers for next year’s tournament in the first week of June.
The Black Stars in that first phase of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers will not only face Madagascar but the Central African Republic as well.
Ahead of the first match which will be played in Ghana, players have already started reporting to camp.
Footballghana can report that the Ayew brothers together with Mubarak Wakaso, Osman Bukari, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, and Felix Afena-Gyan have all arrived to prepare for the upcoming game.
Training is scheduled to officially commence on Saturday, May 29, 2022.
The encounter against Madagascar will be played on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Cape Coast Stadium.
