Please continue supporting us – Coach Ogum urges fans of Asante Kotoko
The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has urged the fans of the club to continue supporting the team in the midst of the difficult time the team is experiencing.
The Porcupine Warriors club last weekend suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Legon Cities FC in a matchday 26 encounter of the Ghana Premier League season.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Ogum expressed disappointment, insisting that it was not what his team wanted.
He appealed to fans to stick to the team in the upcoming matches to keep the team going.
“I will entreat them to support us as they have always done. We started with them and this is not what they expected today. They expected that coming from the backdrop of a defeat on the road we were going to win today, we couldn’t win, we couldn’t meet their expectation,” Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said.
The Asante Kotoko coach added, “If they stay away from us I think that will rather discourage us. This is the time we need them more.”
Up next for Asante Kotoko, the team will face WAFA SC on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
