Speaking to manager Patrick Vieira at the start of the season helped me a lot – Jeffrey Schlupp
Ghana international, Jeffrey Schlupp has disclosed that he has had a good season at Crystal Palace this season thanks to talks he had with new manager Patrick Vieira before the campaign commenced.
The injury-prone player this season has enjoyed a lot of playing time after staying fit for most parts of the season.
Speaking in an interview, Jeffrey Schlupp has disclosed that he has been happy with his performance this season.
“One of the most important things for me personally was to stay fit all season. Previous seasons I’ve had spurts here and there where I’ve played well and then I’ve been out of the team with long injuries.
“Speaking to the manager at the start of the season, that was one of the main things for us: to stay fit. I think that’s one of the main reasons why I’ve managed to perform personally,” Jeffrey Schlupp told his club’s official website.
The Black Stars midfielder added, “I feel amazing. I’ve had a great season physically. I’ve stayed fit for most of the season. I feel as good as I have done for my whole career, so I’m sure there is plenty more to come.”
This season, Jeffrey Schlupp has scored four goals and provided two assists after making 31 appearances for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.
