Strasbourg closing in on Ghanaian winger Tariqe Fosu
Ligue 1 side Strasbourg are closing in on signing Ghanaian winger Tariqe Fosu from English Premier League side Brentford in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old has struggled to command a starting XI due to persistent injuries in the course of the season.
He has only three appearances for Brentford across all competitions this season.
The pacy winger has one-year left on his contract and has no plans of renewing it.
Talks between Brentford and Strasbourg have reached an advanced stage with official announcement expected in the cooing days.
A product of the Reading academy, Fosu rose to prominence at Charlton Athletic and Oxford United, before transferring to Brentford in January 2020.
Fosu was capped by England at U18 level and made his senior international debut for Ghana in October 2020 in friendlies versus Mali and Qatar and he scored his first international goal in the latter match, with the opener in a 5–1 victory.
