Thomas Duah fingers referee George Vormawah for causing Ashantigold defeat

Head coach of Ashantigold, Thomas Duah has accused referee George Vormawah for causing their defeat to Hearts of Oak in matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians defeated the Miners 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium courtesy a brace from Daniel Afriyie Barnie.

Ashantigold despite creating a lot of goalscoring opportunities could not find the needed equalizer as the Phobians picked the maximum points.

Speaking to the media after the game, Thomas Duah insisted the two sides exhibited good football but was quick to blame the referee as the one behind his team defeat.

Duah threatened they will soon start sending schnapps to match venues to curse bad referees..

“You could clearly see that the referee had his own results in his pockets, even though Hearts of Oak played well but the referee was awful, very soon we will start bringing our schnapps to the pitch, because we will be cursing any bad referees.” He said.
