WAFA’s Konadu Yiadom dismiss Hearts of Oak transfer reports
WAFA defender Konadu Yiadom claims he has no knowledge of a possible transfer to Hearts of Oak for next season.
According to reports in the local media, the defender has agreed to join the reigning Ghana Premier League champions at the end of the season.
Yiadom was associated with the Phobians before the start of the season, but the move fell through.
He was thought to have signed a pre-contract with the Ghanaian giants, something he was not aware of.
“I don’t know where that’s coming from and I haven’t heard anything about that, I haven’t spoken to anyone,” he told Wontumi TV.
Yiadom’s WAFA is currently 17th on the Ghana Premier League table with 26 points after 26 games. They will take on league leaders Asante Kotoko in their next game.
