WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations: LOC launches tournament today
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations Cape Coast 2022 will officially launch the tournament and other related activities at Ridge Royal Hotel – Cape Coast at 11am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Seven countries will compete for the title including the Black Starlets as well as a slot for next year’s Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.
Below is a statement from the GFA:
“The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the WAFU U-17 Cup of Nations Cape Coast 2022 will officially launch the tournament and other related activities at Ridge Royal Hotel – Cape Coast at 11am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.”
“Seven countries, namely, Cote D’Ivoire, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Togo, Niger, Benin, and host Ghana will compete for the title as well as a slot for next year’s Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.
“Local Organizing Committee Chairman Samuel Anim Addo and his Members are expected to outdoor plans and programmes for the tournament that is scheduled for the Cape Coast stadium from Saturday, June 11 – Friday, June 24, 2022.
“The Media is cordially invited.”
