We must win our next game to bring back the joy to our fans – Kotoko coach Dr. Ogum
Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has stressed that it is important the team wins its next match to bring joy to the fans.
The supporters of the club watched on on Sunday when the Reds suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.
After the game played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, fans have expressed disappointment to the recent results of the team when playing at home.
Spekaing in his post-match interview after the Chelsea game, Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said he feels bad the fans didn’t go home with some joy.
According to him, his players must and will secure a win in the next game to make up for the pain caused to the supporters,
“l feel sad when we keep hurting the emotions and feelings of our supporters. We must bounce and bring back the joy. We are capable,” coach Ogum said.
Up next for Asante Kotoko, the team will take on Medeama SC on matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League.
