We must work hard at the World Cup – Goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott urges Black Stars teammates
Ghana goalkeeper, Joseph Wollacott has charged his national team teammates to prepare to work hard for the country during the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
The Swindon Town goalkeeper displayed an impressive performance in March to help the Black Stars overcome the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the playoff round of the qualifiers to the world cup.
Speaking to Happy FM in an interview today, Joseph Wollacott has stressed that the Black Stars must work hard at the world cup.
“We just have to work hard and play with freedom, don’t put pressure on ourselves. Just go and represent Ghana.
“We just have to work hard and be hopeful we can be successful. We can qualify for the World Cup,” Joseph Wollacott shared.
At the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ghana has been drawn in Group H and will face Portugal, Uruguay, as well as South Korea.
The mundial will be played between November and December this year.
