We won’t take any risks with injured Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, says St. Pauli manager Timo Schultz
The manager for FC St. Pauli, Timo Schultz has emphasised that the club will not risk and rush injured Daniel-Kofi Kyereh back into action.
The Ghana forward featured and scored for the team last weekend during the 1-1 draw against Werder Bremen.
Unfortunately, he sustained a thigh injury that forced him to miss yesterday’s clash against SV Sandhausen.
Speaking on the situation, manager Timo Schultz has confirmed that Daniel-Kofi Kyereh will be not rushed to return to the turf.
“We hope we can get this under control as soon as possible. But we won’t take any risks there either,” the manager said in a pre-match interview ahead of the 1-1 draw against SV Sandhausen.
This season, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has made 26 appearances for his club in the German Bundesliga 2.
He has scored 11 goals and has nine assists to his credit as well.
