Working in Ghana helped me a lot – Saanie Daara
Former Ghana Football Association spokesman Ibrahim Saanie Daara has stated that working in Ghana has helped him a lot and he has no regrets working in any capacity in Ghana football.
Saanie Daara was responding to the Ghana Football Association Ethics Committee’s dismissal of bribery and corruption charges leveled against him. The Ghana Football Association concluded that there was no evidence.
Speaking to Accra based radio station Hot FM 93.9 Saanie Daara said:
“I’ve never regretted working in any capacity in Ghana football despite that incident. Working in Ghana helped me a lot just that people wanted to breakdown my good reputation and legacy,”
Saanie Daara is a member of CAF’s communication team. He was appointed as a media officer by CAF for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. He was also a media officer for the 2020 CAF Super Cup played in Doha, Qatar.
