World Cup 2022 draw: With determination, Ghana will progress to knockout stage – Joseph Paintsil
Ghana international, Joseph Paintsil says he has no doubt the Black Stars will advance from the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Having qualified for this year’s global tournament in Qatar, Ghana has today been drawn in Group H of the tournament.
In that group, Ghana will face Portugal, Uruguay, as well as the Korean Republic.
Sharing his thoughts on the draw in an interview with TV3, KRC Genk winger Joseph Paintsil says it is a good draw.
According to him, although the group is tough, Ghana’s Black Stars can make it through to the knockout stage.
“Is a very good draw. Everybody has its strength. It is determination that will depend who qualifies from the group stage. For us Ghana, we will do everything we can to go to the next stage,” Joseph Paintsil shared.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
