Yaw Annor will score goals against Medeama – Ashantigold coach Thomas Duah
Interim Ashantigold gaffer Thomas Duah believes Yaw Annor will continue his scoring run against Medeama in matchday 28 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Yellow and Mauves will host the Miners at the Akoon Park on Sunday.
Ahead of the clash, Thomas Duah has asserted Yaw Annor will lead the miners to beat Medeama at their own backyard.
“We are going in for a win against Medeama because we want to be at a better position on the league log. Our position on the league standings is not all that good, so we will go in for a win”
“Yaw Annor is going to score goals against Medeama. He plays like Yaw Preko, he is able to take players on, create chances but is wasteful in front of goal”
The former Bechem United speedster has been impressive in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign for the miners, bagging 16 goals after 27 matches.
He is currently in contention for the goal king prize as he trails Asante Kotoko’s Frank Mbella by just two goals with 7 games to end the season.
Yaw Annor produced a magnificent performance last Sunday when the miners inflicted a 5-1 win over Berekum Chelsea with the winger scoring four goals in the game.
