I will be the voice of Ghanaians – Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman has promised to be the voice of Ghanaians in the NDC led administration going forward.
That she said was to ensure that concerns of all the generations of the country including the young, old, and persons with disabilities were factored into critical decisions made.
“Together, we can strategize to solve long-standing problems of needless and unproductive discrimination, and thrive as valued citizens. I want you, all of us in whatever demographic category to know, that I will carry your voices forward. Together, we can make it happen. This, I pledge to you,” she said.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang was speaking at her unveiling on Monday, July 27 at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
According to her, despite some social gathering restrictions the Covid-19 pandemic had necessitated, her outfit would still identify safer opportunities to interact with the various age groups to engage in fruitful conversations on behalf of the country and citizens’ development.
The J & J ticket, the Prof noted was determined to find lasting solutions to the daunting challenges confronting the country and position it into the path of recovery and prosperity, adding that the journey would require all hands on deck approach to achieve.

Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang Nominated First Female Running Mate of the NDC
Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang was nominated about three weeks ago by ex-President John Dramani Mahama as his running mate for the December 2020 elections.
Her nomination makes her the first female running mate of the party and the first among the two leading parties, the New Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The news of her appointment has been welcomed by the majority of Ghanaians, especially, women and girls who saw her nomination as gratifying for the cause of women, especially, those in politics, leadership among others.
