Stonebwoy adjudge 2021 EMY Africa Awards ‘Music Man of the Year’

Ghanaian Afropop, dance hall and reggae musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known Stonebwoy in the entertainment circles have been adjudged the Music Man of the Year at the 6th edition of the Exclusive Men of the Year Awards (EMY).
Stonebowy beat celebrated and multiple award winning Ghanaian artiste Kwame Eugene, King Promise, Kidi and Mr Drew to cling on to the prestigious award on the night.
Music Man of the Year
EMY Music Man of the Year award recognizes the most prolific and consistent personality in the music industry for the year under review.
It also honours that individual in the music industry who through his craft, style and sounds as a musician impacted lives.
For his award, Stonebwoy took home a citation and the enviable EMY Africa Award plague.
Receiving the award virtually at the event held at the Kempiski Hotel in Accra on Saturday,October, 23, Stonebwoy expressed his appreciation to the organizers for the honour done him.
He described the award as right adding it would be an encouragement to do much more than he had done over the years to represent Ghana and Africa as a whole on the world map.
He was grateful EMY had recognized all the hard work he had put into his crafts over the years.
“Over the years we have put in a lot of work to get to this point and to be recognized by such a prestigious awards scheme is only right and actually encourages us to do the most that we can to represent for mother Africa, represent for Ghana our beloved country,” he said on the show monitored by GhanaPlus.com.

Exclusive Men of the year Africa (EMY Africa) was established to honour and celebrate the achievements, innovations, and brilliance within the Ghanaian business environment and beyond.
Since its establishment, the awards have honoured hundreds of outstanding shakers and movers in the country’s diverse professional field.
