Asante Kotoko midfielder Sherrif Mohammed vows to bounce back stronger from injury
Asante Kotoko midfielder Sheriff Mohammed has vowed to come back stronger than ever after suffering an injury that has ruled him out of the season.
The former Steadfast FC marksman is expected to miss the remaining matches of the Porcupine Warriors due to an injury setback.
Sherrif’s injury will be a big blow to coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum. The enterprising midfielder has established himself in the team and his absence will be felt with the season coming to a close and the league title race still in place.
The box-to-box midfielder has been one of the outstanding performers for Asante Kotoko this season.
In a post sighted by Footballghana.com, the midfielder expressed his displeasure about his injury but has vowed to come back stronger.
“The pain you feel today will be the strength you feel tomorrow. So sad to end the season like this but injuries are part of the game which is very unfortunate”
“Let’s keep supporting our beloved club to end the season as champions! I will come back stronger InshaAllah” he posted on Facebook.
