Legal Practitioner, Lawyer Martin Kpebu has set the records straight over his seaming harsh criticisms on the performance of the Minister of Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta.
He said all he ever wanted is a better governance which would bring better development and improvement in the life of Ghanaians and that explains his criticisms of the Minister but has nothing personal against him.
“I don’t have any personal issues with Ofori-Atta, no am just speaking as a citizen. We are talking about governance, governance, we want better governance”.
Mr Kpebu set the record straight on News 360 on TV3 on Friday, January 6, monitored by GhanaPlus.com when the news anchor asked him about his seaming criticism of the Minister who happens to be the cousin of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He noted Ghanaians had so much hope in the President when he assumed office but all he and Mr Ofori-Atta has achieved is plunge the country to debt and brought untold hardships on the people.
To him, the only thing the two had to show for the time they have been in office is making their families richer while millions of Ghanaians die in poverty.
“We thought the President could deliver not knowing they came to make their family rich, that all. They came to make the Akufo-Addo and Ofori-Atta family rich and the now the rewards are out there. They have become richer, the nation is in debt and millions are dying that is the scorecard,” Mr Kpebu lamented.
