“Ashantigold target is to win the league” – Kweku Duah
Assistant coach of Ashantigold Thomas Duah says their target for the season is to win the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League trophy.
The Miners despite slow start to the season have find their rythym sitting second position on the league table two points behind the first place team Karela United.
According to Thomas Duah, winning the league is the prime target of the club since the club is known for winning the Ghana Premier League title.
“Our target is to win this year’s league, and we have done it before”.
“It surprising when a team like Techiman Eleven wonders boost they can win the league, yet Ashgold cannot”. He told Fox FM Sports
The coach ended by lavishing praise on his winger Yaw Annor who has five goals in this season’s competition.
“Yaw Annor is improving because there is huge competition in the squad. He is playing very well we are happy with how he has adopted very fast”,
The Miners will host their regional rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday in matchday 11 of the Ghana premier league.
