Davido Set To Donate N250 Million Birthday Money To Orphanages Across Nigeria
Award-winning Nigerian artist Davido has shocked his fans and social media users after he released a statement disclosing what he will do with the N250 Million donations he received from friends and family.
The artist has been trending on social media for a few days after he took to his social media page to beg for funds from his fans and social media users. He tagged his friends and other celebrities colleagues to donate N1 million each to clear his Rolls Royce for his birthday.

After Davido shared his account details on social media, friends and loved ones started sending their monies into the account. In a few hours, the account of Davido was credited with over N70 million. The bank has however restricted the account after it was credited with over N130 Million in less than 12 hours.
In a press release posted on the page of Davido, he expressed appreciation to fans, friends, colleagues, and all those who donated towards his upcoming birthday.
According to Davido in the release, he loves giving and would be happy to put smiles on the faces of children in the orphanages. He stated he would be donating the N200,000,000 which he got from the donation to the orphanages. He added that he would also donate N50,000,000 to the Paroche foundation which brings the total donation to N250,000,000.
