Kumasi: Fuel tanker explodes at Kaase, causes injuries (PHOTOS)

A Fuel tanker has caught fire at Kaase near Asokwa in the Kumasi Metropolitan of the Ashanti region on Friday, January 21, 2022.
The incident occurred while the fuel tanker was discharging fuel to some tricycles.
Announcing the incident on Twitter, the Police service disclosed that no casualty was recorded but the incident caused injuries to some fewer people.
The Police said both the tanker driver and the Tricycle drivers escaped the scene.

Investigations, according to the Police, has begun.
The incident follows a deadly dynamite explosion that swept through Bogoso -Apiatse in the Western region on Thursday.
17 people have been confirmed dead with 59 people injured.

Thankfully, no persons have been reported dead.
The tanker driver and the tricycle rider involved have escaped the scene.
The police are at the scene to manage the situation.
