Shatta Wale and Medikal granted bail; here’s what you need to know
Shatta Wale and Medikal granted bail.
An Accra Circuit Court today (October 26) granted Shatta Wale GHC100,000 self-recognizance bail.
Medikal, on the other hand, was granted GHC100,000 bail with one surety.
In Shatta Wale’s case, he needs no surety as he is already famous and would not easily slip through the hands of security.
But for Medikal, despite his fame, he needed a backup to get out of police custody.
Shatta Wale was arrested last week for faking a shooting incident.
His PR, Nana Dope, shared the fake news on his Snapchat. His PR and two others were arrested and detained.
And as for Medikal, he was arrested for brandishing a gun on social media.
The rapper was picked up by the police last week Thursday and denied bail the next day.
Both Medikal and Shatta Wale are free to move around and go about their regular businesses.
However, considering their bail, they have to tread cautiously.
