‘Shatta Wale Wake Up, We Can’t Lose You’
In what we have come across as a sad news this evening, famous Ghanaian artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah, fondly called Shatta Wale has purportedly been shot by unknown gunmen.
The sad news was announced by his road manager, Nana Doe via Snapchat. He claimed the dancehall king was ambushed by some gunmen in East Legon today.

He added that Wale was attacked when it was raining but thankfully he was able to evade the gunmen even after sustaining severe injuries. Shatta Wale is now at undisclosed hospital receiving urgent medical attention and battling for his life.
Taking to snapchat, Wale’s Personal assistant wrote;
“SMH!! They could do this in this rain? SMFH
“If not the fact that he was driving prepared, it would have been too bloody!! F*ck this!! My niqqa too strong to give up!! You strong my g, I dont even know what to even say!! The typing make difficult.
“Thanks to all those calling to check up, the king is still at the emergency ward receiving treatment.
“The gunmen are still on the run. Thanks to Ghana Police,”
