2-unit classroom block commissioned at Isreal

A 2-unit classroom block with offices and a urinal bay has been commissioned at Israel, a suburb community in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality.

The project was funded by the Mineral Development Fund (MDF).

Addressing the media, the chief of Israel, Nana Kuranchin III expressed his complete satisfaction with the gesture and lauded the Assembly and the Member of Parliament for their immense support to the community.

He further appealed to the Hon. MP and the MCE for urgent intervention to the challenges in the community.

Responding to his request, Hon. George Mireku Duker, Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources assured them of a better road Network and a well-developed community.

He therefore applauded the Hon. MCE and his technocrats at the Assembly for ensuring a better Tarkwa-Nsuaem.

Hon. Benjamin Kessie, Municipal Chief Executive disclosed the Assembly’s plans to continue with the construction of the school block.

He also admonished ‘Nananom’ of Israel to maintain and protect the remaining plots of land for more developmental projects to benefit the community, especially their young ones.

The project was commissioned when Hon. Kessie continued his quarterly routine community visitation to Israel and Kenyankor on Monday, 9th October 2023.
