6 NDC members dead, 50 others injured in Ejura accident

Vida Essel-LampteySix members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been confirmed dead with over 50 others sustaining various degrees of injuries in a gory accident that occurred on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
3news.com report said the supporters were among scores of members of the largest opposition party, who were attending a rally at Ejura in the Ejura Sekyere Dumase Municipality of the Ashanti Region of the country.
The accident was reported to have occurred at Fante in the Ejura Sekyere Dumasi Municipality while the driver was attempting to dodge a pothole on the stretch.
The former President and flag bearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama had already visited the injured receiving treatment at the Ejura District Hospital to sympathize with them.
He assured them that all their bills would be taken care of while at the hospital and other packages would be announced later to alleviate their pain.
