Akyempim residents living in fear following murder of prophetess



Residents of Akyempim, a suburb of Tarkwa in the Western Region of Ghana are now living in fear after some unknown persons beheaded one prophetess living there.

37-year-old prophetess, Mrs Rose Boafo Ampofo was killed by some unknown persons at Akyempim, in her consulting room.

According to the police, investigations are still ongoing to discover the unknown persons behind the crime and they have asked for public cooperation; if anyone has any information regarding that particular crime.

Speaking to the Assemblyman of Akyempim, Mr Michael Ansah said the death of the prophetess has caused fear amongst the residents as it is not the only mysterious death that has happened in the community this year.

The community has witnessed more mysterious crimes and are now living in fear of their lives.

Mr Ansah also revealed that they are putting measures in place to enhance security in the community and also ensure that residents are safe and have a peace of mind.
