2 armed robbers have set a Bolt driver on fire in an attempt to snatch his vehicle on Wednesday, December 22.
According to reports, the two robbers hired the bolt driver from Bakado, a suburb of Sekondi and told him they were heading to Komfoase.
On their way going, they started to threaten the driver to hand over his vehicle which after trying to resist the attack, they poured fuel on him and set him on fire with a lighter while in the vehicle.
After he was set on fire, he opened the door and fell out of the vehicle, whiles struggling, a female passenger alerted her taxi driver to stop as they were passing by the scene when he saw the victim in agony.
The robbers upon attracting some attention bolted from the scene without the vehicle after which the driver was poured water.
He was then transported to the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi and according to witnesses, the suspects were teenagers.
