Ashanti Region’s Sarfoa crowned winner of 2021 Ghana’s Most Beautiful

Vida Essel-LampteyThe Ashanti Region’s representative in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant, Ms Benedicta Asamoah who goes by the stage name Sarfoa have been adjudged winner of the 2021 edition.
Her win makes her the 15th winner of the prestigious Ghanaian culture and tradition centered pageant and the second native of the Royal Asante Kingdom to win the crown since it began some 15 years ago.
The first was won by the region’s representative, Ms Salomey Amoakoa Mensah, known on stage as Akua in 2011.
The Native of Adansi Akrokerri in the Ashanti Region beat competition from the Upper East Region’s Wedaga, the most tipped for this year’s crown, Oti Region’s Akosua , Bono Region’s Mfodwo , Volta Region’s Setor and Western Region’s, Manu to win the coveted crown, the car and it accompanying prizes.
Winning Prize
For her prize, Sarfoa takes a brand new 4 X 4 from MG Auto Ghana Limited, a ₵10,000, cash and many others from sponsors.
Runner ups
Volta Region’s Setor, Western Region’s Manu came second and third respectively while Upper East Region’s Wedaga, Oti Region’s Akosua and Bono Region’s Mfodwo came, fourth, fifth and sixth correspondingly.
Ghana Most Beautiful
Ghana’s Most Beautiful, a flagship reality show of Media General’s TV3 was first introduced in 2007 to educate Ghanaians and the entire world about the cultural values and heritage across the 16 regions of Ghana.
