Dagbon forum presents ten scholarships package from Lakeside University in Accra, to His Royal Majesty Ndan Yaa-Naa.
The leadership of Dagbon Forum(DF) and a representative of its Council of elders, paid a courtesy call on Ndan Yaa-Naa at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi on 6th October 2022 The purpose of the visit by Dagbon Forum was to re-affirm its loyalty to the King and to further assure him that the Forum stand by him in the execution of all his plans for the Kingdom.
In recognition of the agenda of His Royal Majesty Ndan Yaa-Naa to promote education in his Kingdom, the leadership of DF led by the National President, Sakoya Naa Iddrisu Sintaro and supported by the representative of the DF Council of elders, Professor Abdulai Asuro, presented ten scholarships package from Lakeside University in Accra, to His Royal Majesty Ndan Yaa-Naa.
As one of the founding members of DF and President of Lakeside University, Dr Saani Abdulai and the University Council generously donated the scholarship to Ndan Ya Naa through Dagbon Forum. The scholarship is to be distributed to ten brilliant but needy students from Dagbon.
His Royal Majesty Ndan Yaa-Naa expressed happiness at the gesture and said he is happy to have children who are ready to support him realize all his dreams for the Dagbon Kingdom.
The DF leadership also called on Kuɣu Naa at his palace at Kuɣa. The Kuɣu Naa impressed upon the leadership of DF to forge strong collaboration with Ndan Yaa-Naa and all his sub-chiefs so as to confront the myriads of challenges facing Dagbon.
