Mr Charles Bissue former secretary of the Inter-ministerial Committee on illegal mining says members of the public should not pay heed to all the allegations levelled against him.
According to him, all the news circulating about him concerning his alleged involvement in corruption, and his issue with Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Kissi Agyabeng and the office of the special prosecutor is untrue.
In an interview with Naomi Afriyie Nyannor on the Jolly Breakfast Show, Mr. Bissue said he does not have anything personal against the individuals who are behind those allegations but he is rather concerned about how they are tarnishing his image.
He further made it known that these issues will not deter him from contesting the seat in the Essikadu-Ketan constituency as he is focused on doing something that will benefit his party, NPP and the constituency as a whole.
Mr Bissue, therefore, admonished the people of Essikadu-Ketan not to believe the stories circulating about him but rather keep in mind his good works over the years and look forward to him taking over from Joe Ghartey as the member of parliament for the constituency.
