Don’t politicize my health: Anyone can be ill at anytime – Speaker

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin has called on the public not to politicize his health or that of any officer holder in the country.

A statement dated November 29 and signed by his Counsel, Hon Magnus Kofi Amoatey said anyone can be taken ill at any time hence the need to distance health issues from politics.

“The office will advice that the health issues of the Speaker and that of other officer bearers  are not politicized as anybody could be taken ill at anytime. It is an undeniable fact that the membership of the house is one whole group with a common agenda,” a portion of the statement sighted by GhanaPlus.com reads.
