Family rains curse on Ghana Police after taxi driver dies in cell

A family has rained curses on some personnel of the Ghana Police Service for allegedly murdering a taxi driver whiles in police custody.

According to reports, the victim, Joseph Enchie, 53, was arrested on December 25, 2021, by some police officers in Sekondi after he was accused of knocking one of the officers with his vehicle at a barrier.

After the family got information of the victim’s arrest, they journeyed to the Sekondi Police Station the next day and upon reaching there, the man was not in a cell, but rather in a bodybag.

The family told Skyy Power 93.5FM that an autopsy has been conducted on the deceased but the police are adamant to make the results public and they sense foul play as they are accusing the police of murder.
