GSCL Managing Director Donates to Sagon raid victims.

The Ghana Supply Company Limited (GSCL), Managing Director (MD), on August 7, 2022 donated to the residents of Sagon community, a suburb of Chereponi District in the North East Region after the community was attacked and raided by Gbalu Anufor Community last month.

The items donated includes Four (4) bale of clothes, five (5) bags of salt, children cloths and other valuable items, his donation was made to relief the hardship imposed on the victims through the unfortunate violent act by the assailants.

Interacting with the media during the donation, the managing director said the move follows an appeal from the leadership of Konkomba Youth Association, KOYA to the government, NGOs and other personalities to support Sagon community.

He continued that the leadership of KOYA in said properties belonging to the Sagon Community members have been destroyed as a result of the raid hence, the call and he made the donation to the KOYA to support the victims.

Mr Jawol pointed out that the donation has become necessary for it has to do with people’s lives and properties.

He thanked the leadership of KOYA for their immense contribution and efforts in making sure the people of Sagon are back on their feet while calling for justice to be served to bring the perpetrators to book.

Mr Jawol encouraged both parties and the affected persons to resort to the use of appropriate channel in resolving land issues to safeguard their lives and properties.

The KOYA National Secretary Nagbija Elvis, on receipt of the relief items lauded the managing director for his support and immense contribution to the development of Kikpakpank.

He also thanked individuals whom have responded to KOYA’s appeal by contributing their quota to support the victims and urged other benevolent organizations and individual to also do same.
