The National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s war against Ghana’s finest morning radio programme Kokrokoo on PeacFM seem not to be ending soon as personalities within the party throw subtle jabs at the programme every day even though management of the station has called on the party to let sleeping dogs lie and return to the show.
A few days ago the Communication Director, Sammy Gyamfi was reported to have lambasted the programme, its presenter as well as guests who graced the programme.
Today, another personality within the party, the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George has taken to his social media to do same.
The Member of Parliament in a Facebook post said that he was willing to buy cockerel to do Kokrokoo for members of the National Democratic Congress who wished for the party to return to Peace FM Kokrokoo morning programme desperately.
“Methinks the Party should stay with the wishes of the base reference Kokrokoo.
If anyone desperately wants the party back on the show, I am willing to buy a cockerel to do Kokrokoo every morning for you. Kokrokoooooooo!” he said.
NDC Boycott Peace FM’s Kokokroo Show
The NDC was reported to have boycotted the country’s finest morning programme, Kokrokoo, aired on Peace Fm on weekdays from Monday to Friday over what they described as unfair panelling system.
The decision was in connection with the station’s decision to host its suspended member Allotey Jacobs who was one of the party’s representatives on the programme and constantly introducing him as “Social Commentator with strong leanings to the NDC”, to spite the NDC.
