If I’m made President of Ghana for one week – Saddick Adams writes

Vida Essel-LampteyAwarding winning Ghanaian Journalist, Saddick Baba Adams has said that he will move 60 percent of the country’s ministries, department and agencies from the capital city of Accra to other part of the country if he were to be given the opportunity to serve as Ghana’s President for just one week.
“If I’m made President of Ghana for one week, first thing I’m going to sign is for 60% of Ministries, Dept and Agencies to be moved from Accra and spread across other regions,” he wrote.
The sport journalist, popularly known as Sports Obama in the Ghanaian sport fraternity made the comment in a tweet on Tuesday, January 26, 2020.

Currently, all of Ghana’s ministries, departments and agencies are located in the capital city of Accra, one of the sixteen (16) regions of the country.
The development, many had called for a swift change to help create equal developmental opportunities for the remaining 15 regions of the country and also to ensure even distribution of the country’s wealth.
Many Ghanaians have reacted to the renowned journalist’s tweet sharing the same sentiment as him.
