The Chief Executive Officer of House of Angels Salon and Bridal Home, Josephine Jackson has been adjudged the overall best student of Abrantie College, 2021 Academic year.

The banker turned beautician also known by many as Abena Kumi –Afoakwa swept seven (7) awards including the Overall Best Student at the college’s graduation ceremony held at the National Theater on November 20, 2021.

She was adjudged Best Student Hair, Facial Skin Care, Chemical Relaxing and Creative Hair Technology.

The rest are Best Student Cosmetic Science and Continuous Development Professional Outreach Programme.

I am humbled – Josephine Jackson

Josephine Jackson tells GhanaPlus.com, she is  humbled by the feat she had chalked.

She revealed the journey has been extremely difficult but sheer determined and divine help has made her dreams a reality.

“Looking at my career and academic background it means everything. To me it’s like life gave me the opportunity to dream again and like a deaf horse in a race I didn’t have the ears to give to discouraging words”.

“The goal was to succeed and I did everything within my means to. God didn’t fail me,”  Josephine Jackson said.

The House of Angels CEO prays her story encourages someone out there to dream also, regardless of the obstacles.

The journey was tough, I didn’t picture the course to be difficult but trust me it was very difficult, more of a combination of biology and chemistry”.

“This is to tell everyone out there who is struggling to live their dreams because of what the society will say or because of age that dare to dream, dare to live that dream and dare to set a pace.  Do something that will make you happy and proud,” Josephine Jackson advised.

“Everything I put into this was worth it and I thank God for that,” she said.
