The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Omni Media Limited, owners of Citi TV/FM, Mr Samuel Atta-Mensah has express worry over the church in Ghana’s support for proposed bill against LGBTQ+ currently before parliament.
In a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com, he said he thinks the church should hasten slowly in throwing its weight behind the bill.
According to Mr Atta-Mensah, the bill proposes a prison terms for persons engaged in the practice and that should be of concern to the church.
“And the bill proposes what again…?? Prison term for homosexuals? And the church supports this?? The Church of Jesus Christ? I think the church should hasten slowly on this bill. It’s ok to frown on it but prison term di333…I’m not sure. Please tell the church,” his tweet reads.
