MASLOC Boss ‘gifts’ medical ‘equipment’ to Yendi hospital

The Chief Executive officer of Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakaria has donated essential medical equipments to the Yendi hospital in the Northern Region.

The items donated include about ten Hand-held patient monitor worth about $30, 000 which was given to the newly built Alicia Reine Bishop Emergency Center in the Yendi Municipal hospital.

The Alicia Reine Bishop Emergency Center is a 28 bed capacity building with two critical isolation rooms started in February 25, 2021 when commissioned will attract a lot of patients across the country based on its capacity.

Interacting with the media, Mrs. Zakaria disclosed that her aim of extending helping hand to the hospital was her love to humanitarian service in giving back to the people and the society at large.

She continued that the Yendi Municipal hospital was where she was born, hence important to give back to the hospital.

Mrs. Zakaria, however, acknowledged the Mission 318 for their wonderful work and assured them of commitment more donation in the near future.

On behalf of the management of the hospital, a medical superintendent, Dr. Abdulai Ayuba received the medical equipment and thank the MASLOC Boss for the kind gesture.

He assured that the equipment will be put to good use and reiterated commitment to ensure a proper culture of maintenance to improve the longevity of the equipment and called on other people to emulate same from the CEO to help the hospital achieve its aim of providing quality health service to all.
