Telecommunications giant MTN Ghana has presented hampers to 30 babies born on Christmas Day at the Efiankwanta Regional Hospital and the Esikado Hospital in the Sekondi Takoradi metropolis.

The gesture forms part of the company’s annual event to welcome newborn babies into the world.

Each baby received a hamper containing diapers, cream, towel, baby powder, soap, and detergents among other items.

Prince Owusu Nyarko, Senior Manager of South West Business District MTN, speaking at the ceremony said welcoming the newborn babies on Christmas Day in all regional capitals had become a tradition for MTN Ghana.

He added that the gesture is something that the company does every year to show appreciation to the community, especially with the significance that the 25th of December holds for many to show the love and joy of the season.
