Aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has promised to support the winner of the NPP 2023 presidential primaries to “Break The 8” on condition of free and fair elections.
He warned that if what happened to his supporters in the last presidential primaries elections is repeated, there will be a worse “showdown”.
He said party members must not bother to plead for his cooperation because he is a committed NPP member and must be treated as one.
Mr Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in an exclusive interview on Skyy Power 93.5FM on Friday, October 13, 2023, ahead of his Showdown Walk from Sekondi to Takoradi reiterated that he is the most credible and competent strategic fit Presidential Candidate to not only break the 8.
He said, “If I don’t win the 4th November polls, I will not leave the NPP, on a condition that if they don’t repeat what happened on the 26th August, I will support anyone who wins but if they win, then I will give them a showdown.”
