Ndan Ya-Naa Congratulate the newly appointed UDS vice Chancellor.
The overlord of Dagbon Kingdom, Ndan Ya-Naa Abukari II has congratulated the former pro vice Chancellor of University for Development Studies (UDS), Professor Seidu Alhassan for his newly appointment as the vice Chancellor for the university.
His appointment leaved no one in doubt that his hard work and sacrifice for the university of development studies has ultimately paid off.
Professor Seidu Alhassan served in all strata of the university including Department co-ordinator, head of department, vice Deen, director and pro vice Chancellor in the university.
“I hope these vast experiences and his sterling leadership credentials would guide his steps in making the university greater”.
In his career he demonstrated astuteness, humility, hard work and selflessness and I implored him to continue these values as he assumed leadership of the great university.
The university was established into served a special purpose in Ghana’s education sector and I hope he would be strictly guided by it mission and I objectives to remedy the challenges of the university.
The university was established in 1992.
“I pray for God wisdom and guidance for him as he begin his vice Ship tenure in September 2022”.
He therefore, commended the government of president Akufo-Addo for such a good decision and foresight in the appointment of experienced university don to this position.
