The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly (EKMA) has made a shocking revelation as to why street lights are unavailable on the Kansarodo-Apollo road.
Speaking on Skyy Power 93.5FM on Wednesday, December 8, Mr Kojo Acquah, responded to a request to mount street lights on the stretch which was recently re-developed into a double lane.
He made it known the development project of the road was designed by National Democratic Congress (NDC) during their tenure of governance and designed it without a street light.
He said, “The reason there is no street light on the Kansarodo-Apollo road is that it was designed without one. The design was done during NDC time, I’m not trying to do politics here but making it clear as to why there are no street lights on that stretch”
“The only thing that was included in the design were traffic lights.”
Mr Acqquah then promised his municipality, that they should look forward to more developmental projects as the Assembly is working towards their concerns.
