The Founder and President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe had wished parties in the ongoing election petition well following happenings at the Supreme Court on Tuesday, February 9, 2020.

Lawyers for the two parties on Tuesday argued on whether the EC chairperson, Jean Mensa should be compel to mount the witness box after her lawyers move for the closure of the petition filed by the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress in the 2020 Presidential elections.

Reacting on his twitter handle Mr Cudjoe said if only the Electoral Commission had been respectful, fair, balance and truthful probably things could have been different.

He however, indicated that in his view following the injustices done to the people of the new Guan District in the 2020 Parliamentary elections supervise by the EC, he was convinced the country’s electoral body was a very wicked and untrustworthy entity.

The four communities namely, Santrokofi, Akpafu, Likpe, and Lolobi  were denied participation in 2020 Parliamentary elections over boundary issues which arose from the creation of the six new regions.

“Anyway, I wish the respondents and petitioner well. In all of these, if only the EC had been respectful, fair, balanced and truthful. As for me, the SALL macabre on the eve of an election supervised by the EC convinces me that it was a very wicked and untrustworthy entity”.
