Stephen Ntim elected National Chairman on 5th attempt
Stephen Ntim, a five-time National Chairman aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been elected to the position of National Chairman at the national delegates conference of the party.
He won by a landslide victory of 4,014 votes (72%).
Mr Ntim will take over from Freddie Blay, who has served in such a position since 2015.
Mr Ntim was elected as Chairman of the NPP at the party’s National Delegates Conference held at the Accra Sports stadium.
The outcome of the results of the Chairmanship race are Professor Christopher Ameyaw-Ekumfi, 101; Akwasi Osei-Adjei, 20, and Kwabena Abankwa-Yeboah, 294, Gifty Asantewa Ayeh, 44; Sammy Crabbe, 32;
However, the incumbent General Secretary, John Boadu, lost to Mr Justin Frimpong Kodua popularly referred to as JFK.
