STMA disappointed over failure of institutions to nurture planted trees

The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA), Mr Abdul Mumin Issah has expressed displeasure with schools and institutions that benefited from 5,000 fruit trees.

According to the MCE, the STMA as part of its Twin Cities in Sustainable Partnership Project (TCSPP) planted over 5000 fruit trees in various schools and Institutions to meet its goal of ensuring food security and greening the metropolis.

Unfortunately, most of the trees have perished due to lack of care and naturing for these trees by authorities at the beneficiary schools and Institutions

A situation which Mr Abdul Mumin Isaiah describes as disappointing.
